I spend way too much time finding and listening to new music. I make playlists and create lists and/or write reviews on RateYourMusic.com. I hate Spotify with all my heart, but I've spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours collecting music and creating playlists on this platform, so they've got me kind of trapped (not to mention the fact that they effectively hold a kind of market monopoly). So, I apologize in advance, but here are links to a series of Spotify playlists:

'Monster Playlist of Goodness' where I gather every track from all my playlists into one single playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6sMOWYTJ564BiUZSDiCgwT?si=ecec2072cdb144ad

Top 500 Albums: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0uEuqcJQ9v72Qk4zmZoq2S?si=863d605b9fe94310

Favorite albums of 2024: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0r2hzM4gxJPlEXyZh2HkqI?si=ac25258cc36c48d6

I have hundreds of other playlists (I don't know how many are public, though). Check them out if you'd like.

And then, of course, there's the Pink Cotton Candy profile, featuring large playlists sorted by moods such as dancing ("Tonight I'd Rather Just Go Dancing"), happiness ("Actually Happy Songs for Occasionally Happy People"), reading/studying/relaxing ("Reading, Writing, Arithmetic & Other Relaxing Habits"), sadness/nighttime ("Only Loved at Night"), ambient/calm ("Ladies & Gentlemen We're Floating in Space"), Danish music ("Denmark is a Village in Sweden, Right?"), and so forth.

On RateYourMusic, I'm mostly active with my Year End Lists ('Heartcrushingly Beautiful').  Here's a link to the current one (still in progress): https://rateyourmusic.com/list/Nbruus/heartcrushingly-beautiful-fav-albums-2024/
